Party Season Outfit 4: Breakfast at Tiffany’s
This is one of my favourite dresses I have purchased this year from my favourite store – Mango. This is a beautiful nude coloured dress and it is going back to “less is more”.
The moment I saw this dress in Mango I knew instantly that this was something that I was going to buy. The dress is modest however looks classy which is something that I love and a style I am now drawn too. The neckline is adorable with the V shape and the material is really flowy and super flattering.
I have already written why I love silk on my Albert Bridge post where you can find here. I don’t want to repeat myself but as a woman you can’t go wrong with wearing silk. It makes you feel glamorous and presentable.
All of these photos where taken at the stunning Burlington Arcade in Mayfair. I love this place as a destination for shopping and definitely browsing too.
For a dress like this, my advise is to have your hair in a low bun and to have simple gold earrings (especially with a nude dress like this). I have worn these earrings numerous times with evening dresses and these are a staple for this type of outfit.
My makeup is really simple with a good contour and a berry lipstick. I always think less is more.
This bag is also from Mango. I rarely buy a whole outfit from one store but everything just seems so gorgeous this festive period that I want everything.
The colour of this bag complements my dress as there are bits of silver, gold and yellow in this. You need colour because if this was nude it would make you look washed out so having colour in there is definitely important.
The details of the bag are so intricate and delicate. In my eyes it makes the outfit look really gorgeous.
I have opted for just a simple gold necklace – you can buy this anywhere but it adds a nice simple touch to the whole thing.
Like I mentioned earlier, I believe a look like this means the hair needs to be in a low bun. It just adds more sophistication to the outfit and it is going back again to less is more. I can’t stress how important this is with this type of look.
I love the slit of the dress and how it flows throughout the body.
Bringing it all together
I love how this outfit has all come together. This is one of the most simple dresses I have ever got yet one of the most classiest. If you are looking for a last minuet dress for an evening event then this is your go to look.
